Right Now - This is for the Birds
I have two Blue bird boxes out my back window, one for the common Sparrow and the other is for the Blue birds. To our delight it is being used by the Blue birds. What a beautiful bird they are - the color on the back as they are in flight is fantastic. Well to my surprise it looks like after 2 years the are going to nest in the one. I will try and get a couple of pictures once they establish themselves in this territory. Don’t want to frighten them off the nesting box now.
I’d like to hear from some folks on the do’s and don’ts about the Blue bird and their habits i.e.: What they eat, how well do they tolerate people around them and so forth. My garden is only a few feet away and I need to dig and work in there. How about some of you ‘chirp’ in on the subject and let all of us know your secrets. I know more about softball but let’s save that for later.
