AN 'A' FOR EFFORT: Seniors impress in Raiders’ first scrimmage, coach says

They didn’t keep score in Middletown’s first scrimmage of the football season, a get-together with Boyertown on Saturday, Aug. 16 at War Memorial Field – but Blue Raider Coach Brett Myers said he learned a little about his senior players.

 

The seniors “as a whole’’ showed leadership in the scrimmage, as the Raiders made a difficult transition from hard practices to game scenarios against opposing foes, Myers said.
