The Middletown Police Department on Tuesday arrested Joseph Alan Tozer, 32, in connection with the drug overdose death of Carla Nelson.
Nelson, 47, died in her apartment at 21 S. Union St. on Thursday, March 14.
Tozer is charged with murder by delivery of drugs and is being held in the Dauphin County Booking Center.
Nelson lived in the apartment with her boyfriend.
Middletown Detective Sgt. Gary Rux II said Thursday morning in a brief interview on the sidewalk in front of the building that there was no obvious evidence of illegal drugs in the apartment.
Rux said Thursday that police consider the death to be an “isolated incident” and that there is no danger to the public.
