Middletown girls soccer won two out of three to improve to 6-8 on the season.

Middletown defeated West Perry 1-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Makaila Nester was the difference-maker in the game, scoring in the first half, and the defense clamped down on West Perry in the second to help preserve the shutout. Goalie Amanda Lee had three saves in the game.

On Tuesday, Oct. 5, Middletown beat Camp Hill 3-1 on Senior Night. Nester, Alayna Thomas, and Camryn Russ scored one goal apiece. Nester had two assists and was assisted by Jordyn Dupes on her goal. Lee had five saves.

Nester put Middletown on the board first in the first half and Thomas found the back of the net before the half came to a close to give the Raiders a 2-0 lead at the break. Russ tacked on an insurance goal in the second half before Camp Hill scored late in the half to end the thought of a shutout.

Middletown played Trinity on Monday, Oct. 9 as a make-up game from Sept. 5 and was shut out 5-0. Trinity outshot Middletown 10-5 in the game.

They played Milton Hershey on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and are scheduled to play Susquehanna Township twice in the final days of the regular season, at Susquehanna on Thursday, Oct. 12 before returning home to play them again as a make-up game from Sept. 21 on Oct. 16.
