The Middletown boys' basketball team nearly pulled off a big win against Trinity on Tuesday, Jan. 19 but came up agonizingly short, 38-36 in Middletown.

The Blue Raiders bounced back, however, to record their 11th victory of the season on Thursday, Jan. 21, beating Pequea Valley, 66-51. The next day, the Raiders had another upset in the making against Milton Hershey, only to have the game slip away in the fourth quarter in a 70-59 loss.

Middletown (11-7, 4-6 in the division) took visiting Trinity right down to the final buzzer, but the Shamrocks held on.
