An Elizabethtown woman faces drug charges after she was rear-ended in a collision on Toll House Road in Londonderry Township at about 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 15.

Police said that Jessica Lynn Hayhurst, 23, of the 800 block of Schwanger Road, failed to yield while turning left onto Toll House Road from Route 283 and was rear-ended by another vehicle.

A pipe containing marijuana residue was found inside her vehicle, as well as a plastic pill bottle with no label containing two Tramadol pills, police said in arrest papers filed with District Judge David Judy.

She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and a separate charge related to altering the label on the pill bottle. She is also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, and failure to yield.

Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 26.

Faulty brake light leads to charges

A Middletown woman faces DUI and drug charges after being pulled over by state police at Vine and East High streets for having an inoperable brake light at noon on Nov. 13.

Lindsey Marie Wagner, 28, of the first block of Rose Avenue, was driving with a suspended license, according to arrest papers police filed with District Judge David Judy.

A crack pipe and suspected crack cocaine also were found in her vehicle, police said. Lab analysis of a blood draw showed that Wagner had cocaine in her system at the time, police said.

Wagner is charged with possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI while under suspension, and having no rear lights.

Her preliminary hearing before Judy is scheduled for Feb. 26.

DUI charge against Londonderry Township man

A Londonderry Township man was charged with DUI after being pulled over at East Main and Vine streets in Middletown shortly after midnight Dec. 3.

Gary Richard Lingle, 59, of the 1500 block of Zion Road, was driving a vehicle with an expired registration, Middletown borough police said in arrest papers filed with District Judge David Judy.

Lab results showed that Lingle had a blood-alcohol content of 0.210 percent at the time, police said. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 5.
