Elwood C. Seiders


Elwood (Woody) Clyde Seiders II, 65, of Enterprise, Ala., went home to Jesus on Wednesday, August 8. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Edith Thomas Seiders of Enterprise, Ala.

Woody was born August 7, 1953 in Hershey, Pa. to Elwood Seiders and Frances Hoffman Seiders. He grew up in Middletown, Pa. and worked in the family-owned full service gas station and tire store until his early 30s when he moved to Pinellas County, Fla., where he loved the sunshine and warmth. He later settled in Enterprise, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his father Elwood C. Seiders.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother Frances Seiders of Middletown; sister Debbie Bryan and husband Tom Bryan of Middletown; daughter Lisa Wertley and her fiancé Chris Johnson and grandsons Trystan Wertley and Noah Wertley, all of Hershey; son Elwood Clyde Seiders III of Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
