When the Lower Dauphin boys’ basketball team took the lead against Red Land on Tuesday, Dec 10, there was no turning back.

The Falcons came up strong, defeating the Patriots, 70-45.

Falcons rout Red Land, 70-45

LDboysBasketballWhen the Lower Dauphin boys’ basketball team took the lead against Red Land on Tuesday, Dec 10, there was no turning back.


The Falcons came up strong, defeating the Patriots, 70-45.


Kaylor Kulina, Colten Nagy and Luke Rutledge led the Falcons with 15 points apiece. Rutledge hit three 3-pointers, while Kulina and Nagy hit one apiece.


Lower Dauphin (2-2, 1-1 in the Mid-Penn Conference’s Keystone Division) was successful at the free throw line, sinking 16-of-20 – and while the Falcons committed numerous fouls, the Patriots (0-3, 0-2) made only 17-of-37 foul shots.


Lower Dauphin’s 18-7 lead early in the first quarter helped boost the Falcons’ confidence, and the team remained focused, outscoring the Patriots in three of four quarters. The final stanza, both teams added 18 points to their score.{jcomments on}
