Following is a compilation of reports from the Highspire Police Department. Please be aware all those charged/cited are presumed innocent unless proven otherwise in a court of law.

 

Disturbing the peace


Thomas Witmer, 47, of Highspire, was charged with disturbing the peace after police witnessed him publicly urinate in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Second street at 6:44 p.m. on Nov. 15, police said.  


Unlawful possession


Cheyenne Minnick, 18, of Steelton, was charged with unlawful possession of a small amount of marijuana and unlawful possession or use of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 16, police said.  


Police pulled over the vehicle at the intersection of Second and Wetzel Streets because of expired registration, and discovered the marijuana during the course of the investigation, police said.  Minnick was a passenger in the vehicle.


DUI


Lauorence McKinney, 27, of Harrisbug, was charged with DUI and stalking after police responded to a report of domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Second Street at 2:58 a.m. on Nov. 17, police said.


Marcus Steele, 23, of Harrisburg, was arrested for DUI and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver after a traffic stop at the intersection of Front Street and T Street at 1:17 a.m. on Nov. 24, police said.
