A Middletown man faces DUI charges after he allegedly struck a speed limit sign on South Eisenhower Boulevard and fled on foot through the Highspire Cemetery.

The call came in at 12:33 p.m. May 9.

According to the affidavit filed with District Judge Michael J. Smith, Cody Joseph-Michael Albright, 24, and another man were found walking near the intersection of Race and Second streets.

Lower Swatara police said Albright wasn’t wearing shoes and had grass stuck to his feet.

A preliminary breath test indicated the presence of an alcoholic beverage on Albright’s breath.

A blood draw was taken at the booking center; the results were not reported.

Albright also was charged with failing to report an accident to police, driving without a license, accident involving damage to unattended property and careless driving.
