The 7-Eleven at 12 E. Main St. in Middletown was robbed by a man wielding a knife late Sunday night, police reported.

The suspect shown was described as a black man in his 40s or 50s wearing a black hat, black jacket, gray sweatpants and white Adidas sneakers. At about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, he showed an employee a knife and demanded money out of the register. He was last seen leaving the store heading west toward North Union Street. No other information was released by local police.

Middletown police are asking anyone with cameras in the area to check for a man matching this description in the time frame of 11:20 through 11.40 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dauphin County Communications at 717-558-6900 and ask to speak with a Middletown officer.
