UPDATE: Middletown Area High School student located and is safe

A missing 15-year-old ninth-grader at Middletown Area High School has been found.

"The juvenile and the vehicle were located late this afternoon and both are safe," according to an update from the State Police. No details were provided.

A 15-year-old ninth-grader at Middletown Area High School, Dallas Lamar Saunders, has been reported as missing by State Police in Harrisburg.

Police said that according to Saunders’ grandmother, Saunders and the grandmother’s light blue 2005 Dodge Caravan have been missing since between 11 p.m. Saturday, March 3, and 1 p.m. Sunday, March 4.

He was last seen in the 2500 block of Colebrook Road in Londonderry Township.

The Caravan has license plate registration JYT-5586.

Saunders is black, 6 feet tall weighing about 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair in an afro-type style, police said. Both of his ears are pierced. He has an Elizabethtown address.

A photo of Saunders was not available, police said.

Police said that numerous attempts have been made to contact Saunders, but none have succeeded.
