The Middletown boys tennis team fell to Trinity, 4-1, on Monday on the road.

The doubles team of Zac Purvis and Levi Ettu won the sole point by defeating Kyle Carson and Brad Predmore, 6-2, 6-2.

Trinity’s wins were Mason Wagner over Jacob Spear, 7-6 (7-2), 6-0;  Adam Warren over Tommy Lee, 6-2, 6-3; Tommy Hallahan over Donovan Brady, 6-0, 6-0; and Michael Brown and Kenneth Kannampully over Steven Mosher and Kyle Shatto, 6-0, 6-2.

The team lost its only other match of the season, 5-0 vs. Susquehanna Township at home on March 13.

Weather forced the delay of two matches: March 20 at Bishop McDevitt and March 22 at Camp Hill. Plans called for the McDevitt match to be made up Tuesday, March 27. Camp Hill will be played April 17.

The upcoming schedule includes James Buchanan at home on March 28; at East Pennsboro on April 3; at Harrisburg Academy on April 4; and at Susquehanna Township on April 5.
