Middletown field hockey drops three straight games

Middletown field hockey dropped three straight and tied one opponent in the last week to fall to 1-12-1 on the year.

Middletown tied Lebanon 1-1 on Monday, Oct. 2. Noelle Zimmerman put the Raiders on the board first, but Lebanon evened the score in the second half and neither team found the back of the net again, resulting in a stalemate.

Middletown could only muster one goal in a 6-1 loss vs. Milton Hershey Oct. 3. Alexis Manfred scored Middletown’s solitary goal after an assist from Kiera Guckavan.

Middletown was shut out against Camp Hill on Oct. 5 and Big Spring on Monday, Oct. 9. They conclude the season with home games Wednesday, Oct. 11 and Thursday, Oct. 12 against Northern York and Shippensburg, respectively.
