The Middletown field hockey team fell twice in the last week to stand at 0-12-1 on the season.

The team lost at home to Bishop McDevitt on Oct. 2, 7-0.

“We performed slightly better than our first match against them this season (an 8-0 loss), which was amazing due to the fact that we had only one substitute the entire game due to three player injuries,” assistant coach Shawn McCreary said.

Thursday against Spring Grove, the squad lost 4-0.

The three players continued to be out with injuries.

The team played at Milton Hershey on Tuesday, then are at home Thursday against York Tech, at home Friday against East Pennsboro, then at East Pennsboro on Monday in a rescheduled game and at Lackawanna on Tuesday.
