Mildred Brubaker



Mildred Brubaker 11-28She was born in Lancaster on July 20, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ester Newcomer Martin.

She was a former supervisor of housekeeping at the former Holiday Inn, Lancaster; she had formerly attended the Bird-In-Hand United Methodist Church and Grandview United Methodist Church, Lancaster; she enjoyed bingo and being in the company of others, but her greatest joy was the love she received from her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years Jay K. Mellinger and her second husband of 28 years Roy K. Brubaker, three brothers, and four sisters.

She is survived by two daughters Patsy Ann, wife of Thomas Baver of Middletown, and Nancy Elaine Mellinger and companion Robert Schoenberger of Lititz; son Lorin J. Mellinger, husband of Joanne Lindecamp of Leola; stepson Roy T. Brubaker of West Lake Village, Calif.; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster, with the Rev. Robert Zimmerman officiating.
