Lower Swatara Volunteer Fire Department holds a dinner on the third Sunday of each month at the firehouse, 1350 Fulling Mill Road.

Each one is different, from January through October. April will be turkey, May is meatloaf, June is baked chicken, July is roast beef, August is stuffed chicken breasts, September is pork, and October is turkey.

Between 75 to 120 people attend each month.

The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. There are eat-in and takeout options.

They are put on by the Lower Swatara Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, and proceeds help purchase equipment.
