Everything went well for Homecoming weekend in Middletown on Saturday, Oct 19. Well, almost everything.

 

The weather was decent, the parade was one of the best ever, and the home stands were filled with fans and alumni, including team members and coaches from the honored 1988 District 3 Class AAA championship football team. 

 

The only problem was that this year’s football team, in spite of its efforts to pull out a win, was denied victory by visiting East Pennsboro.

 

Using a fundamentally sound game plan throughout the game, the Panthers turned back the Blue Raiders, 17-7, much to the disappointment of the partisan crowd on hand at War Memorial Field.
