A Middletown woman was arrested by borough police after she allegedly beat a 10-year-old child during an incident in the 700 block of North Pine Street shortly after 2 p.m. on Sept. 1.

Krystian Ashley Bell, 27, same address, allegedly told police that she hit the girl so many times that she “lost count,” according to arrest papers police filed with District Judge David Judy.

The girl reported feeling dizzy and nauseous with blurred vision, and was taken to the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for a possible concussion, police said.

Bell was arraigned on Sept. 1 before District Judge David O’Leary and charged with endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, and harassment. Bail was set at $20,000, but Bell was not listed as being in Dauphin County Prison.

She waived a Sept. 10 preliminary hearing before Judy and is to be arraigned on all charges in Dauphin County Court on Dec. 7.
