PSU Harrisburg presents musical 'Avenue Q'

The Penn State Harrisburg School of Humanities’ theatre program will present the spring musical “Avenue Q” at 7:30 p.m. April 6 through 8 in the Student Enrichment Center theater on campus.

A post-show talk back on the show’s identity themes will be held on Thursday, April 6.

“Avenue Q” tells the story of a college grad, Princeton, as he arrives in New York City with big dreams. He finds an apartment on Avenue Q and a neighborhood filled with an array of colorful characters. Together, they struggle to find jobs, dates, and their purpose in life.

A musical by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, “Avenue Q” is directed by Maria Enriquez, lecturer in theater, with music direction by Dr. Adam Gustafson, instructor in music.
