Vehicles need to be removed from school district lot in Middletown

Posted

If your vehicle is parked in the administration lot of Middletown Area School District at 55 W. Water St. in Middletown, you need to move it as soon as possible.

The school district allowed people to park their vehicles in the lot on Monday and Tuesday because of the snow storm. However, that is no longer necessary because the snow emergency has been lifted.

Now the school district doesn’t have enough space in the lot for its own employees to park their cars, according to a Nixle alert that the Borough of Middletown put out on Thursday morning, March 16. The alert is based upon information that the school district provided to the borough.

Vehicles that are not moved will be towed, said district spokeswoman Jody Zorbaugh, although she could not say how soon towing would begin. Zorbaugh also pointed out that any towing of vehicles would be done through the borough.
