The minute “Duck Dynasty’’ star Phil Robertson uttered his now-infamous remarks on homosexuality, he should have known it would all go downhill.

The patriarch of America’s most-loved TV family stepped in it when he attacked moral relativism and declared “adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers” will not achieve the “kingdom of God.”

This wasn’t just an unhinged, backwoods fiery sermon, but a smack in the face of high-browed secularism paired with its conjoined twin of political correctness.

The fallout was strong and swift ...
