Willenbecher top vote-getter for four seats on Middletown Borough Council; Sites earns seat

Incumbent Ellen Willenbecher was the top vote-getter in Tuesday's general election, easily keeping her seta on Middletown Borough Council with 6 of 6 precincts reporting in final, unofficial results.
Willenbecher earned 1,092 votes.
The top four candidates earned seats. Second is former council member Scott Sites with 772 votes. Third is Council President Angela Lloyd with 722 votes. Fourth is council member Richard Kluskiewicz at 622 votes.
Former council member David Rhen is fifth at 588 votes, and newcomer Phyllis Dew has 581 votes for sixth place.
Former council member Michael Woodworth earned 458 votes. He resigned in September and presumably would not accept the seat if he had been one of the top four vote-getters. Kluskiewicz was appointed to replace him.
